In collaboration with Mrs. Universe and Mrs. El Salvador, Alejandra Guajardo, we launched the El Salvador Series —a project highlighting the country's national symbols in connection with its adoption of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin & El Salvador
Bitcoin's message manifested in genuine craftsmanship
The Maquilishuat Bitcoin Sculpture
This exquisite wooden sculpture is inspired by my original drawing, Maquilishuat and is part of the El Salvador Series. Crafted by a skilled artisan from El Salvador, it embodies the authenticity and craftsmanship of Salvadoran tradition.
Each piece is made to order, ensuring a unique creation just for you. If you have any customization requests, feel free to reach out! The Sculpture is crafted when ordered and can be delivered in approx. 3 weeks.
If you have any questions about this sculpture or would like to see it in person, please reach out to Alejandra Guajardo (Miss Universe El Salvador 2022), one of the project's key initiators.

The Maquilishuat -
El Salvador's national tree
Just as nature heals itself, on September 7th, 2021, El Salvador took a bold step towards revolutionizing the entire financial system by adopting Bitcoin as legal tender. This is a historic moment, signaling the beginning of the self-healing process for our distorted financial system. In tribute to this historic moment, we created an artwork and a sculpture inspired by the Maquilishuat, El Salvador's national tree.
The Great
Bitcoin Wave
Bitcoin is the wave of our time. The wave, a powerful and majestic symbol, represents Bitcoin's growing dominance over the outdated financial system. The first wave has already hit, but a much larger one is still on the horizon. As Bitcoin evolves into the global standard, its blockchain will become the foundation for all digital information. The waves of adaptation are inevitable. I am certain of this.
This sculpture draws inspiration from the iconic engraving, The Great Wave off Kanagawa (神奈川沖浪裏, Kanagawa oki nami ura), by the renowned Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai.
El Salvador has a lot surf spots along its stunning coastline. The ocean, with its beautiful beaches and thriving surf culture, is deeply ingrained in the nation's identity, holding a cherished place in its traditions and everyday life.
Under the leadership of President Nayib Bukele, the country has undergone a dramatic transformation—from being one of the most dangerous nations in the world to becoming one of the most inspiring economic success stories in the Western Hemisphere, all in a remarkably short period.
